11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

Firstly, the thesis systematiccally researchs organizing and managing institutions of  Northern Delta villages  in the 18th and 19th centuries, including governmental and non-governmental institutions; the operation and relation between the institutions to point out the features in the traditional village management, the tendency and rules of mobilization and transformation of the village, at the same time, explain the cause of those mobilizations and transformations.

Secondly, it identifies and points out the essence of the village, objectively reproduce the real situation of the village bullying in the Northern Delta in two centuries XVIII and XIX with its effects, consequences to politics, economics, society; thereby offering multidimensional and systematic insight about the root and strong expansion of this social evil.

Thirdly, basing on the link and comparison with the current situation of Vietnamese villages, the thesis has drawed some lessons that contribute to the effective management of the central government, serving the industrialization and modernization of our country.

12. Practical applicability: This thesis provides scientific basis and lessons for effective policy-making of new rural management; compiles references for history students and those with similar interests.

Researching the value of ancient conventions and lessons for village management in Vietnam nowaday.

Researching the organizing and managing institutions of villages in the course of history and experiences contributing in the management efficiency of Vietnam central government today.
