11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis

Develop and apply the computation procedures of hydrological fields and marine dynamics through the implementation of data analysis techniques based on the locally weighted scatterplot smoothing (LOWESS). The results show that the LOWESS technique has proven to be well integrated in the construction of 3D temperature and salinity fields  as an input to the GHER computation model for the Bac Bo Gulf.

Through the results of the implementation of the model, we have discovered and explained the simultaneous structure of monthly sea circulation, temperature and salinity and for the Bac Bo Gulf.

Based on this, it can be confirmed that the process developed and applied in the thesis can be used to compute and predict the circulation and temperature-salinity structure of the Bac Bo Gulf as well as other sea areas.

12. Practical applicability, if any:

The results of this study could be applied in practice to build a system of monitoring, warning and forecasting of Bac Bo Gulf's marine environment; Become a reference for research and teaching for undergraduate and master students.

13. Further research directions:

Continue to study and develop the application of the above computation process in the studying, forecasting and warning of circulation and temperature-salinity structure for the entire Eastern Sea.

Research and develop an environmental forecasting system.
