11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

The Thesis has contributed to the development of a research direction on political work in the Vietnam People's Army from the perspective of approaching the major Ho Chi Minh Studies:

- Based on official sources, the thesis has clarified the basic content, characteristics and values of Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on political work in the process of birth, fighting and maturation of the Army. Besides, the thesis also assesses the situation of Ho Chi Minh's applying thought in political and the current issues in this work in the Army.

- On this basis, the thesis proposed the direction and groups of basic solutions to apply Ho Chi Minh's thought to enhance the quality of political work in the People's Army of Vietnam in current stage.

12. Practical applicability:

- The results of the thesis can be used as reference materials, scientific research, teaching and learning subjects on political affairs in the Vietnamese People's Army in the Military Schools.

- From the perspective of major "Ho Chi Minh", the research results of the thesis initially provided some theoretical and practical basis for applying Ho Chi Minh's thought to improve the quality of political work in the military in current stage.

13. Further research directions:

- Researching deeply for each of Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on political work in the army to see the stature and great value of that thought.

- Continuing to study the current state of political work in the military, thus clarifying the issues which are posed in this work in the current military build-up.

- Concentrating on studying the creative solutions applying the ideas of Ho Chi Minh to improve the quality of political work in military in the current stage
