11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

Firstly, by studying female writers’ renovation in writing styles, the thesis aims to look more deeply into the renovation of Vietnamese short stories in particular as well as Vietnamese literary in general in the period after 1986

Secondly, the thesis points out the unique features in the writing styles of the three female writers, that is, Nguyen Thi Thu Hue, Nguyen Ngoc Tu, Do Bich Thuy

Finally, the thesis  contributes to identifying the achievement and effort of the three female writers in particular and their works in the renovation and integration process of Vietnamese contemporary literature.

12. Practical applicability, if any:

The thesis can be applied in surveying some contemporary Vietnamese writers. The thesis’s result contributes to supplying theories for reference and teaching in different levels.

13. Further research directions, if any:

Studying the art renovation in short stories by some female writers is a step to study contemporary literary.
