The MOU was signed on 22 August, 2009
Mississippi State University began as The Agricultural and Mechanical College of the State of Mississippi, one of the national Land-Grant Colleges established after Congress had passed the Morrill Act in 1862. It was created by the Mississippi Legislature on February 28, 1878. Mississippi State University is ranked 375 in Webometrics. MSU is dedicated to the three broad purposes already mentioned-learning, research, and service. Mississippi State University now comprises the following academic units: College of Agriculture & Life Sciences; College of Architecture, Art and Design; College of Arts and Sciences; College of Business & Industry; College of Education; College of Engineering; College of Forest Resources; College of Veterinary Medicine. Mississippi State University is justly recognized for its educational and technological contributions to the national and international communities
