The future of the Vietnam - United States partnership largely depends on the youth
On January 8, 2025, U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam Marc Evans Knapper visited Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and engaged with its students on the topic “The 30th anniversary of U.S. - Vietnam relations” in VNU Nguyen Van Dao Hall.

VNU Innovation & Startup Incubator: Nurturing university entrepreneurial spirit
On December 18, 2024, VNU Center for Enabling Startups and Knowledge Transfer (CSK) organized the launch ceremony of VNU Innovation & Startup Incubator. This is a business model under CSK, aimed at supporting technology incubation, developing spin-off businesses, and fostering university startups.

Vietnam National University, Hanoi jumped 456 places to 325th rank in QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025
On December 10, 2024, Quacquarelli Symonds released the ranking results of the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025 for 1,751 higher education institutions worldwide. Accordingly, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) made a big jump to 325th rank globally (an increase of 456 places compared to its 2024 position), 51st in Asia, and 1st in Vietnam. VNU Job Fair 2024: VNU always accompanies its students on their journey of self-development and career building
On November 30, 2024, VNU held the "Career Journey and Job Connection Day" (VNU Job Fair 2024) with a variety of exciting activities, attracting nearly 8,000 students from both inside and outside VNU. On November 26, 2024, VNU Party Committee Secretary, Council Chairman and President Le Quan had a working session with Nanjing University (China) Party Secretary and Council Chairman Tan Tieniu. The leaders of VNU and Nanjing University (NJU) signed a framework cooperation agreement between the two universities.
