VNU – VJU: First working day at Hoa Lac campus

Today, August 22, 2022 is the first day the lecturers and staff of VNU Vietnam Japan University started working at the new campus in Hoa Lac. VJU has carefully prepared classrooms, equipment and other infrastructure to welcome students to study here. The move of VJU headquarters to Hoa Lac has marked a historical milestone on the way to becoming a leading research-oriented university in Asia.

With parallel training at My Dinh and Hoa Lac campuses with reasonable modules, suitable to the characteristics of each campus, students will experience a high-quality, Japanese standard training program in the most complete and flexible way, bringing the most value and benefits.

In the next school year, VJU in Hoa Lac will welcome more than 300 students and more than 100 experts and lecturers to study and research. The HT1 and HT2 building at Hoa Lac campus with 35,000 m2 floor, modern lecture theater systems, smart laboratories, libraries with many utilities will be the destination for new students to study and have great experience.

As scheduled, about 6,000 VNU’s students will be learning on Hoa Lac campus in the 2022-2023 academic year. Specifically, from September 2022, 450 first-year pedagogical students of VNU University of Education, 550 first-year students and some second-year students of VNU University of Medicine and Pharmacy, 300 students of VNU Vietnam - Japan University and 600 VNU International School’s students will be learning in Hoa Lac. In addition, students of VNU University of Engineering and Technology and some other training units are expected to study some practical modules and take practicum in Hoa Lac.
