VNU – VJU students have opportunity to participate in research projects

Two master students of Master's Program in Global Leadership (MGL) were granted the opportunity to accompany a JICA expert in research for the SEAMEO RIHED 2022 Inter-Regional Research Symposium.

On November 23-25, 2022, two master students from the MGL program, Trinh Ngoc Anh and Ngo Thu Trang had the opportunity to assist Dr. Jasmine Jung Hyun Ryu - JICA expert in a research project under the title "Binational Universities in Vietnam: Pathway to inclusive internationalization?” at the SEAMEO RIHED Inter-Regional Research Symposium located in Bangkok, Thailand. 

SEAMEO stands for Southeast Asia Ministers of Education Organization. It is a regional intergovernmental organization based in Bangkok.

SEAMEO RIHED's Inter-Regional Research Symposium is being relaunched on 23-25 November 2022 at the Asia Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, with a renewed emphasis on the contributions of higher education towards sustainable development. The Inter-Regional Research Symposium will now be organised on a biannual basis from 2022 to 2030 to unpack different aspects related to the contributions of higher education towards sustainable development in each edition of the Symposium up to 2030 and will expand the inter-regional focus through partnerships in higher education by providing an enhanced opportunity to learn from Southeast Asia and other regions of the world collectively.

 

The 2022 Inter-regional Research Symposium will also introduce new platforms and opportunities to review and update regional progress in higher education as well as develop research capacity among new and emerging researchers in addition to the presentation of original research. These new platforms and opportunities will be carried forward in future editions of the Symposium and include a Regional Policy Dialogue, as well as a Researcher Capacity Development Workshop to raise the capacity of new and emerging researchers.
